Creating a safety plan and coordinating a safe exit strategy can be the difference between life or death. Below are some tips and things to consider when preparing to leave an abusive relationship.

Our Motivation

Our team is comprised of phenomenal women who understand the feelings of fear and isolation that come with being in an abusive relationship. Each of our advocates have had to face the tough decision of do I leave or stay. We know firsthand the complexities of cultivating an exit strategy. We've also been confronted by all of the tough questions like what to tell your family and friends and what to if he reaches out. And, as women, probably the two the biggest ones of all  "How do I protect my kids and how do I prevent this from every happening again?"  As a round table of sister-survivors we know that on the outside the choice appears easy to others, but on the inside, it's just not that simple.

However, our motivation IS simple.

We fight everyday to make sure that no other woman has to feel lost, judged, or alone. Our programs have been created by survivors and for survivors, because we totally understand.  We want you to know that this is a safe landing place to begin the rebuilding process. It is our goal to give you all the love, support, and tools that we wished we had along the way. We want to ensure that you have the resources and training you need to reclaim your independence and restore your freedom to live and love life.

So basically, YOU are our motivation.
